Resolution Services

Mediation

Mediation is the most cost-effective alternative to traditional litigation. It is available for cases in which the parties are represented by attorneys as well as cases in which the parties are not represented by attorneys.

Family Mediation

Family Mediation is available to divorcing couples and to other non-married parties involved in family law disputes, including unmarried LGBTQ partners. We mediate post-divorce matters, modifications to custody, alimony, child support, college costs, health insurance, and pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.

Collaborative Law

Collaborative law is an additional alternative to the adversarial system. Attorney Mark I. Berson is a trained Collaborative Attorney and he offers this service to avoid litigation.

Arbitration Services

Divorce Arbitration

If negotiations and/or mediation, between couples, have not been resolved, arbitration can provide closure to the dispute. The arbitrator hears and receives evidence from each party and renders a decision which is called an Award. The Award is binding, and once approved by the Court, is final. Arbitration is flexible and may be adjusted depending on the complexity of the issues and the time necessary for presentation. Attorney Mark I. Berson is a trained arbitrator.

The Case Evaluation

At Michael I. Flores PC, we offer a flat fee case evaluation during which we provide clients with a deep dive into their case. The client meets with one or two attorneys who evaluate the merits of the client’s case and provide clear guidance for the client to follow after the case evaluation.

“Crissa made sure I thought of things for the future rather than just rushing to get things done in the moment.

She always walked me through everything and never made me feel like a burden or like I was asking stupid questions.”

- Sam, May '18
